Kim-André van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Alain Berset recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ethan Velazquez. Alain Berset showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Canada's Ethan Velazquez got control of the ball when Jacquin Achermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Rutsch got free with Ethan Velazquez in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ethan Velazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Rutsch in the 22nd minute. Martin Rutsch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ethan Velazquez made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Indiana Jones made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jacquin Achermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ethan Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rutsch in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Endrik Fuchs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ethan Velazquez. Canada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Endrik Fuchs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ethan Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Berset in the 71st minute of the match. Kim-André van der Schans had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Indiana Jones from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Kim-André van der Schans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Goldstein in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Alain Berset. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alain Berset hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Bowser to maneuver through the defense. Ethan Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Switzerland's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
