The battle for supremacy on these fair Isles has
recommenced. Reigning champions 1948 MKS
currently sit proudly at the top of the table with 29 points after 12 games
played. However, it’s a close battle with Brad’s Toilet Seat sitting in 2nd only one point behind. Toilet Seat hopes pip MKS to the crown but the English guns
will have their work cut out.
Trailing in 3rd place and 4 points off the pace
is Irish club Mailinowe Nosy, they
have collected 25 points. Despite this they are not in a comfortable position.
Three teams sit only 1 point behind them on 24 points. Newcomer’s to the BISL Baby Snakes, Scottish champions Floodish and IPL team Hegdgetown. Only goal difference
separates these teams.
The last team in the top half of the table is Stickleback City, they have picked up 7
wins with 5 defeats leaving them on 21 points.
The bottom seven is where the league gets less interesting,
Newcomers and N.Irish champions Triquetra
sit in 8th place with 16 points accumulated. English D1 team Canary Wharf are in 9th with only one goal separating
the two sides. 3 points behind Triquetra
and in 10th place sits IPL team Joker the Hunter.
Now we get in to the real dross of the league table. The North Face are really having a
dreadful season so far, they finished 2nd last season in the SPL and
were a good mid table team in BISL last season. However, form has took a major
nose dive and the currently sit 4th bottom with only 10 points. Alness
is only two points behind North Face
with 8 points.
In 13th place we have English D1 team
Heavenly Hooters, two wins and a
draw gives them 7 points. Last and not least we have the turds of the season, Muir United. After an impressive mid
table finish last season Brian MacDonald decided to rebuild his ancient squad
and he is feeling the effects on two fronts. Twelve games, twelve defeats.
Although near pulled of a shock in their last game vs 1948 MKS.
