SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS SEASON 73
FLOODISH FC
Unbelievable! Floodish have done the double and both on goal
difference! The battle for the SPL was long and hard. However, Duncan’s troops
out gunned Thank You in the end. Thank You’s failure to land the SPL title has
also caused Chancenllor to sell up. This will have a detrimental effect on the
SPL season next year with everyone getting a walkover.
The next big new is about cheating! Cheaters never prosper
and in the end Fraserburgh got their comeuppance over years of dodgy transfers.
This new has terminated Martos team and he has been mover to the lower leagues
where Im sure vigilant mangers will be keeping close tabs on his transfer
history!
With that our SPL has lost 2 top teams and gives hope and
prosperity to the newly promoted teams coming up from Division One. The return
of Grangemouth and Muir United should hopefully provide excitement for everyone
in season 74!

TOP 3
Our top top three consist of Floodish (Champions) Thank You
(2nd) and Andys North Face. Duncan and Andy will try and provide
some honour to Scotland in the Elite Cups while Thank You will be providing
walkovers!
MIDTABLE
Duncan’s Chelsea Headhunters missed out on 3rd
by five points. It’s a shame that they cannot go on and take Thank You’s place
in the Elite Cups.
Alfordians finished in 5th place with 44 points.
Keith’s boys were too slack at the back conceding 31 goals.
TwojStaryPijany gained a top half of the table spot with 33
points. They have made good gains each season and we all await to see what they
can do in their 3rd season in the SPL.
Dragons Disaster gain from Fraserburghs demise and avoided
the playoffs! They picked up 24 points and pipped Alness to the all-important 7th
place!
PLAYOFFS
Bigar will be kicking and screaming at his squad! They
should be doing much better than 8th. Alness let themselves down and
now have to fight it out in the playoffs to keep their SPL place. All D1 teams
will fear the wrath of a wounded beast!
Dallas escaped the automatic drop thanks to Martos
punishment! The playoffs will be a real challenge! Dallas have been drawn in
the same group as Monty Galaxy who have invested in the squad for the playoffs.
RELEGATION
Yelly Nets and Mount Cliff Ducks gave nothing to the league
and came up too early. I suspect that they will both struggle next season to
get promotion as Division 1 is getting stronger and stronger.
Last but not least Fraserburgh have been dissolved! Tattie
