In the 80thth minute of the game Olin Purcell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinidad & Tobago's Michael Carmichael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Michael Carmichael managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Canada's Olin Purcell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 87th match minute, Trinidad & Tobago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Kangaloo to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes in the game, Wade Camacho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Michael Carmichael having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trinidad & Tobago's zone, Edgardo Beauchesne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Carmichael came out of the goal and Edgardo Beauchesne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Beauchesne hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
