Seating: 4027, VIP seats: 350) Tivadar Demeter made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Tivadar Demeter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tivadar Demeter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Tivadar Demeter made a precise shot to the right of Charles Brown. Trinidad & Tobago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Trinidad & Tobago getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bunji Jagdeosingh hit a great ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Tivadar Demeter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Tivadar Demeter notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown. Charles Brown was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hungary's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winifred Alleyne in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Tivadar Demeter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Brown was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Tivadar Demeter took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Brown. Charles Brown dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Charles Brown made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 43rd minute of play. The Trinidad & Tobago players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-7.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Winifred Alleyne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dominic Ramjohn kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After 52 played minutes Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Stokely Solomon. Charles Brown didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. A collision led to Trinidad & Tobago getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tishan Swaratsingh hit a great ball. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Hungary's Tivadar Demeter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Charles Brown made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 69th minute. When Áron Bódog came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Áron Bódog couldn't finish the play. Hungary made a substitution. Rómeó Lukaku replaced Pál Polyák. In the 76th minute Dominic Ramjohn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Montez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Charles Brown made a huge save. With a little luck, Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown got control of the ball when Gregorio Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Brown having to make a save. Gregorio Montez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Charles Brown made a huge save. Winifred Alleyne kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Gregorio Montez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Charles Brown when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gregorio Montez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Brown having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Montez got free with Charles Brown in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
