Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Severiano Beliran started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Uruguay's Marcos Farre in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Farre took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Lleir. Leonardo Lleir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leonardo Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatius Risel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Lleir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Farre in the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, Mexico's Severiano Beliran made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Armea was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Saul Pietro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Armea. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Armea should have stopped the shot. Mexico's Leonardo Lleir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Farre in the 29th minute of play. Leonardo Lleir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Farre in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Ubaldo Belaustegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Beliran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Aquiles Armea made a huge save. When Uruguay's Marcos Farre in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Marcos Farre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Leonardo Lleir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severiano Beliran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Armea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Marcos Farre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Leonardo Lleir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Farre in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Beliran got free with Aquiles Armea in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Leopoldo Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignatius Risel was the one to do the kick off. Mexico's Leonardo Lleir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Severiano Beliran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aquiles Armea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ubaldo Belaustegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Armea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Beliran, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Leonardo Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernaldo Concepcion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Estevon Arregui was substituted for Ryan Garro. Mexico made a substitution. Ciro Munio replaced Severiano Beliran. Leonardo Lleir made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Ignatius Risel sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Farre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Munio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ciro Munio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Munio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Ciro Munio got a free kick in the 89th minute. Leonardo Lleir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Farre in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Saul Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Armea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Armea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mexico.
