Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Randall Houldsworth made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Nader Al Shaikh sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and U21 Australia's Darin Everett didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, U21 United Arab Emirates's Omar Al Gareb got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Dallas Fasey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anwar Al Muwail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anwar Al Muwail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Houldsworth in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U21 United Arab Emirates's Fawzy Abo Al Hasan got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 United Arab Emirates's goalkeeper Anwar Al Muwail, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anwar Al Muwail stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Randall Houldsworth's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Christopher Markcrow notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of U21 United Arab Emirates's Anwar Al Muwail. Anwar Al Muwail was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anwar Al Muwail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Fletcher in the 24th minute of play. Anwar Al Muwail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randall Houldsworth in the 25th minute of the match. Omar Al Gareb hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half U21 Australia were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
U21 United Arab Emirates's Anwar Al Muwail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Markcrow in the 51st minute of play. Anwar Al Muwail stood somewhat misplaced when Dallas Fasey came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 52 minute. Nader Al Dekhel charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nader Al Dekhel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anwar Al Muwail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randall Houldsworth in the 59th minute of the match. Anwar Al Muwail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randall Houldsworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Anwar Al Muwail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Markcrow in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, U21 Australia's Christopher Markcrow ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anwar Al Muwail. Anwar Al Muwail yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. U21 Australia made a substitution. Matthews Cooney replaced Randall Houldsworth. Anwar Al Muwail took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Fletcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dani Andrusiow scored 0-7 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anwar Al Muwail, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Australia's Dani Andrusiow got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anwar Al Muwail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dallas Fasey, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Matthews Cooney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Anwar Al Muwail was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anwar Al Muwail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dallas Fasey, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Dani Andrusiow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anwar Al Muwail was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Arne Conlin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Nader Al Dekhel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded U21 Australia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than U21 United Arab Emirates.
