Spectators: 1028 (Terracing: 772, Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maximilien Jacques started the match with the kick off. Gani Madlangsakit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustache Holman in the 3rd minute of the match. Maximilien Jacques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gani Madlangsakit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Eustache Holman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Augustin Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bongbong Pelayon was slow to take the kick. During this time Philippines's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bongbong Pelayon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Augustin Lopes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rd minute Eustache Holman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gani Madlangsakit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Canada's Eustache Holman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gani Madlangsakit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximilien Jacques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Eustache Holman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canada's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustache Holman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gani Madlangsakit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eustache Holman came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustache Holman couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Ronny Gibbs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximilien Jacques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gani Madlangsakit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Marc Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Canada's Eustache Holman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gani Madlangsakit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Maximilien Jacques. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Larsson to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marc Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gani Madlangsakit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustache Holman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustache Holman in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gani Madlangsakit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Marc Larsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augustin Lopes was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Philippines's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bongbong Pelayon in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustache Holman in the 63rd minute of play forced Philippines's goalkeeper Gani Madlangsakit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gani Madlangsakit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustache Holman in the 67th minute of play. Gani Madlangsakit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustache Holman's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Augustin Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jumar Baysac in the 71st minute of the match. Gani Madlangsakit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustache Holman in the 76th minute of play. Eustache Holman scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gani Madlangsakit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Canada made a substitution. Troy Holmes replaced Rodrick Lockett. Gani Madlangsakit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustache Holman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Philippines's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilien Jacques came free, but Gani Madlangsakit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustache Holman in the 88th minute of play forced Philippines's goalkeeper Gani Madlangsakit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gani Madlangsakit came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Canada's Eustache Holman. But to his dismay, Eustache Holman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Philippines's goalkeeper Gani Madlangsakit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gani Madlangsakit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilien Jacques in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the Philippines defense, Maximilien Jacques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gani Madlangsakit. The Philippines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gani Madlangsakit should have stopped the shot.
