After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Seth Pollard managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Seth Pollard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arismendy Craddock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arismendy Craddock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.C. Faulk in the 23rd minute of the match. Arismendy Craddock came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Seth Pollard. But to his dismay, Seth Pollard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dominican Republic's goalkeeper Arismendy Craddock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arismendy Craddock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seth Pollard in the 28th minute of the match. Gerardo Almeyda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Wyatt Flanagan made a huge save. Arismendy Craddock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from J.C. Faulk went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Natanael Guillén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Flanagan having to interfere. Ciro Aquino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Flanagan having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Dominican Republic's Gustavo Espinal was substituted for Ciro Aquino. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when J.C. Faulk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, USA's Seth Pollard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arismendy Craddock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Porfirio Cazorla hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When USA's J.C. Arismendy Craddock made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ari Bartley sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes in the game, Ari Bartley dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Dominican Republic made a substitution. Gregory Leñas replaced Feliciano Briceño. In the 69th match minute, Dominican Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Espinal to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ari Bartley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arismendy Craddock was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Gustavo Espinal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arismendy Craddock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ari Bartley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 75 minute of play. Ari Bartley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Dominican Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Bartley came free, but Arismendy Craddock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ari Bartley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezra Oakley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arismendy Craddock firmly grabbed it by the left post. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dominican Republic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ezra Oakley was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Judas Priest heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Arismendy Craddock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ari Bartley in the 93rd minute. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dominican Republic throughout the match.
