Despite this Elo Hira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 25 played minutes U21 Sweden got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Hellsing. Javier Pinola made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U21 Sweden's Henrik Persson. 34 minutes into the match, U21 Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Jos Che came free, but Florencio Euloxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Albin Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Sweden's Albin Blomqvist managed to work through U21 Argentina's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Albin Blomqvist dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.

The U21 Argentina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing U21 Argentina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
