Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Vykans Vikingar's Faas Wilkes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balthazar Bär in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Balthazar Bär shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balthazar Bär in the 12th minute of play. Oliver Flamez charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliver Flamez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when U21 Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Flamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Meck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Balthazar Bär's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Ekrot was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Ronnie Meck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faas Wilkes in the 30th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Torbjörn Nilsson sent off a good shot on target. Torbjörn Nilsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Indalecio in the 36th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Ronnie Meck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balthazar Bär, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Jose Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Hugo Eden got a free kick in the 46th minute.
U21 Sweden's Oliver Flamez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Eden in the 51 minute of the game. 51 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Balthazar Bär came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Sweden were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Vykans Vikingar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torbjörn Nilsson took the corner. André Törnkvist was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 56th minute Jose Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match, Jose Indalecio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronnie Meck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 65 played minutes U21 Sweden got a freekick which was hit by Stig Sandström. U21 Sweden's Dan Mårtensson was substituted for Henning Gulliksson. U21 Sweden made a substitution. Sven-Olof Hamberg replaced Torbjörn Nilsson. After a rather tough play, U21 Sweden's Stig Sandström got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Faas Wilkes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Fredrik Asserlindh replaced Elliott Bogren. U21 Sweden's Ronnie Meck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Sweden from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Hamberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Ekrot was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Hamberg in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Ekrot saved Vykans Vikingar from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Micucci in the 80th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Ronnie Meck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Remicios short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Ronnie Meck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hugo Eden hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Hugo Eden kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ronnie Meck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Indalecio in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Nickov came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Ivar Nickov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Meck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Micucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Vykans Vikingar failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
