If Leszek Piwowarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Martin Ederono took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Tobiasz Czermak to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th minute Leszek Piwowarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Szpakowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Albano Tancredo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zdzislaw Szpakowski got free with Albano Tancredo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobiasz Czermak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Ederono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Ederono came free, but Tobiasz Czermak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
