In the 2nd minute Paulinho D'Alessandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Seitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lovis Lukas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Santana was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Luan Schmidt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Seitz. Cristiano Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. U21 Brazil succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though U21 Switzerland had controlled the match.
