Erubiel Savier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Dalianis in the 14th minute of the match. Erubiel Savier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fanis Dalianis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aias Vlahos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Elorri in the 15th minute of the match. Edelmiro Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erubiel Savier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fanis Dalianis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Erubiel Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Dalianis in the 26th minute of play. Aias Vlahos made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Silvestre Elorri sent off a good shot on target. Vaios Telis hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Cyprus's Aias Vlahos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Elorri in the 41st minute of play. Erubiel Savier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fanis Dalianis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute of the match Cyprus got a corner. Argentina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iphitos Glynatsis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Argentina's goalie and right to Konstantinos Achaparos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Argentina's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 48 minutes into the match, Silvestre Elorri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aias Vlahos. Cyprus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Elorri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vaios Georgenes was the one to do the kick off. Erubiel Savier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fanis Dalianis in the 53rd minute. Silvestre Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aias Vlahos having to interfere. Argentina's Sebastian Urtzi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vaios Telis, made in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 65th match minute, Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Argentina got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Urtzi. In the 70thth minute of the game Benedicto Gitano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cyprus's Aias Vlahos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st match minute, Cyprus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kephalos Logarakis to maneuver through the defense. Argentina made a substitution. Antonio Baudelio replaced Edelmiro Vachon. Cyprus's Kelaino Argitakos was substituted for Vaios Georgenes. Cyprus's Alekos Danas was substituted for Likymnios Dimakakos. In the 72nd match minute, Cyprus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kephalos Logarakis to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Gitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aias Vlahos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Gitano in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Argentina's Benedicto Gitano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aias Vlahos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cyprus's goalkeeper Aias Vlahos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Benedicto Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aias Vlahos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aias Vlahos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Gitano in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Kelaino Argitakos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cyprus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Aias Vlahos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Gitano in the 87th minute of the match. Argentina's Erubiel Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Panoulias in the 89th minute of play. Erubiel Savier came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Cyprus's Sofoklis Panoulias. But to his dismay, Sofoklis Panoulias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Sofoklis Panoulias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Savier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cyprus walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
