Andrej Žampach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Punta in the 62nd minute of the match. Robert Koenig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Koenig in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrej Žampach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 97 minutes, Karel Bruckner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Czech Republic and the U21 Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robert Koenig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Andrej Žampach made a huge save. In the 100th minute of the match U21 Italy got a corner. U21 Czech Republic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Ferraresi ran over to the corner to take the kick.
