In the 3rd match minute, Israel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deron Segal to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute Badaz Homich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eli Carmieli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaak Haiba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eli Carmieli having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Agur Kipper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Agur Kipper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eli Carmieli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eli Carmieli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuno Sadam, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Kuno Sadam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Israel's Eli Carmieli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kuno Sadam spun around in front of the goal 13 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Israel's goal. Eli Carmieli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuno Sadam, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Kuno Sadam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Kuno Sadam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eli Carmieli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Lidan Elie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Israel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estonia the free kick. Lidan Elie hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Estonia's Kuno Sadam got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Estonia's Ilmar Vahing got control of the ball when Sergey Biton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergey Biton got free with Ilmar Vahing in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergey Biton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ilmar Vahing made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Herko Tulp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Israel the free kick. Herko Tulp kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ilmar Vahing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shabtay Miman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Israel's Eli Carmieli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agur Kipper in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Badaz Homich in the 33rd minute of play forced Israel's goalkeeper Eli Carmieli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilmar Vahing made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sergey Biton sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Estonia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Ilmar Vahing had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Shabtay Miman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergey Biton got free with Ilmar Vahing in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Israel's goal looked a bit too open when Kuno Sadam came free, but Eli Carmieli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergey Biton was the one to do the kick off. Shabtay Miman kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The supporters of Israel booed when Estonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taavi Arumeel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estonia's Ilmar Vahing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergey Biton in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Shabtay Miman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilmar Vahing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Israel's Shabtay Miman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilmar Vahing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Israel's Tamir Klaf was substituted for Kfir Antebi. Estonia were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Israel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kuno Sadam took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Kuno Sadam got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eli Carmieli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kuno Sadam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eli Carmieli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Ilmar Vahing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gidi Sinclair in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gidi Sinclair in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilmar Vahing saved Estonia from getting behind. After 80 played minutes Estonia got a freekick which was hit by Aron Reiman. Estonia's Maksim Lipin was substituted for Badaz Homich. Israel's Einan Elshtein was substituted for Gidi Sinclair. In the 81st minute, Aron Reiman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estonia's Ilmar Vahing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deron Segal in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Sergey Biton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 minutes of play, Estonia's Kuno Sadam made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eli Carmieli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Israel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Deron Segal in the 93rd minute. The corner led Israel's Einan Elshtein to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilmar Vahing despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mark Veski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eli Carmieli having to interfere. The Estonia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Estonia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
