A hard shot by Ayalon Shem from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Gigel Tilea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 16 minutes into the match, Israel's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Păvăloae came free, but Hannan Hamdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Israel getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Danell Mackiathan hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Israel's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Coșeriu came free, but Hannan Hamdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jared Wolfman in the 31st minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Israel's Jared Wolfman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gigel Tilea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jared Wolfman struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gigel Tilea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Israel.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jared Wolfman made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Israel got a freekick which was hit by Danell Mackiathan. Mihai Oniga hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Jared Wolfman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Israel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jared Wolfman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Jared Wolfman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Gigel Tilea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute of the match Israel got a corner. Academia Rio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ayalon Shem ran over to the corner to take the kick. Israel's Carmel Saba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gigel Tilea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 72nd minute Jared Wolfman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Israel made a substitution. Tanner Ringler replaced Shaul Melekh. Academia Rio's Gigel Coidum was substituted for Iordache Gheban. In a very dangerous position, a player in Israel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Israel:s Hannan Hamdani showed great skill when he stopped Marin Giubelean:s penalty. After 78 minutes of play, Academia Rio's Marin Giubelean made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hannan Hamdani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayalon Shem in the 81st minute of play. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Jared Wolfman made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 97thth minute of the game Jared Wolfman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Israel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Academia Rio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
