Lebanon's Abdul Ghani Fawaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Son Rosa in the 41st minute of play. Lebanon's Abdul Ghani Fawaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Lebanon from getting a goal against them. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdul Ghani Fawaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Son Rosa in the 93rd minute of play. Hilario Gunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahid Fawaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lebanon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
