After some careless play in the Chañaritos AFC defense, Zeledon Ritchie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Giraldo. The Chañaritos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Giraldo should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Zeledon Ritchie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteban Giraldo, 2-0. FC Europa's Long Yuan Ran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pascual Neto, made in the 22nd minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Chañaritos AFC's Timoteo Sandalio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Orlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brandon Worthington hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Parnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Giraldo having to interfere. Esteban Giraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brandon Worthington's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Europa's Long Yuan Ran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteban Giraldo. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brandon Worthington was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Chañaritos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Baumer to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Yuan Ran in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Benedito Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Benedito Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteban Giraldo. Chañaritos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Esteban Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Worthington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chañaritos AFC's Esteban Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Ritchie in the 65th minute of play. Esteban Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Ritchie in the 68th minute of play. Jonatan Orlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Omero in the 73rd minute. Esteban Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Zeledon Ritchie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Esteban Giraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, Bernardo Omero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Long Yuan Ran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes, Brandon Worthington made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chañaritos AFC's Esteban Giraldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Europa fully deserved thier win.
