Stepan Babich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matej Hnilica's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Matej Hnilica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stepan Babich was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 9th minute of the match IFK Fjärås got a corner. WWW LENINGRAD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. J.J Jaago ran over to the corner to take the kick. When IFK Fjärås's Matej Hnilica in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WWW LENINGRAD's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matej Hnilica in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stepan Babich saved WWW LENINGRAD from getting behind. In the 30th minute Matej Hnilica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stepan Babich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, WWW LENINGRAD's Velimir Ignatov got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, WWW LENINGRAD's goal looked a bit too open when J.J Jaago came free, but Stepan Babich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, IFK Fjärås's Matej Hnilica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stepan Babich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 36 played minutes WWW LENINGRAD got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Karpov. After 37 played minutes, IFK Fjärås's J.J Jaago shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stepan Babich came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK Fjärås reached it. In the 38th minute, Matej Hnilica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stepan Babich was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 40th match minute, WWW LENINGRAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Velimir Ignatov to maneuver through the defense. Stepan Babich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Hnilica in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Velimir Ignatov hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Kristoffer Västerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Budraitis in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as IFK Fjärås's Matej Hnilica slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stepan Babich. That made the score 1-4 after 59 minutes of play. Matej Hnilica received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stepan Babich came out and tried to block the shot, but Matej Hnilica slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 61st minute. Stepan Babich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.J Jaago in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, J.J Jaago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Stepan Babich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matej Hnilica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Stepan Babich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristoffer Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Bubnov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of WWW LENINGRAD booed when IFK Fjärås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. J.J Jaago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stepan Babich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Hnilica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Matej Hnilica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matej Hnilica's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Stepan Babich skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 96th minute, Velimir Ignatov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristoffer Västerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. The IFK Fjärås supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing IFK Fjärås would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
