The United 11 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, one of United 11 FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. United 11 FC:s Östen Carlsson showed great skill when he stopped Torbjörn Samuelsson:s penalty. In the 25th minute, Torbjörn Samuelsson made a precise shot to the right of Östen Carlsson. United 11 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Ernst Burman came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the IFK Fjärås fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Burman couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Eric Fransson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Lind was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. United 11 FC's Matthias Stephansson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Johannes Kilström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Östen Carlsson was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, United 11 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Kilström came free, but Östen Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Kilström in the 60th minute of play forced United 11 FC's goalkeeper Östen Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, United 11 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Östensson to maneuver through the defense. Torbjörn Samuelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Samuelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Torbjörn Samuelsson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Östen Carlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Matthias Stephansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jens-Åke Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Eric Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing United 11 FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
