After 19 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Markus Svensson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teet Vahing in the 23rd minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Markus Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Son saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odin Son made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebben Johansson in the 30th minute of play. Harkujärve JK's Odin Son played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Svensson in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Markus Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Son saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Markus Svensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 41st minute Waldemar Zalipski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Markus Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Markus Svensson to make the kick off. Jaanus Kartul hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the game, Markus Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Odin Son was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Harkujärve JK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bebben Johansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Marcelo Steven heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Golden Lions FC's Mats Nyström was substituted for İbrahim Efe Topdemir. With a little luck, Harkujärve JK's Odin Son got control of the ball when Loco Durazno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Loco Durazno fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Odin Son. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Golden Lions FC's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Loco Durazno made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 65thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Odin Son would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Bebben Johansson struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Odin Son didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Marcelo Steven. Anders Lundqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taavet Vest went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Anders Lundqvist came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Harkujärve JK's Janis Pulver. But to his dismay, Janis Pulver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Harkujärve JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastian Schweinsteiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Loco Durazno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Odin Son was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The Golden Lions FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
