The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reasco Das didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco Durazno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Cristian Vladimirescu made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loco Durazno in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Vladimirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Kubilay İmge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Damario in the 22nd minute of play. Loco Durazno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Cristian Vladimirescu made a huge save. Loco Durazno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Cristian Vladimirescu 26 minutes into the match. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kubilay İmge in the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Loco Durazno made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Vladimirescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Marcelo Steven ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Vladimirescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kubilay İmge made the kick off in the second half. When Riesgo Cero's Santo Damario in 54 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Anders Lundqvist guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 54 minutes into the game, Santo Damario lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Anders Lundqvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 57th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reasco Das hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Lech Biskupiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Vladimirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Vladimirescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Riesgo Cero's zone, İbrahim Efe Topdemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Vladimirescu came out of the goal and İbrahim Efe Topdemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If İbrahim Efe Topdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Damario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anders Lundqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 84th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, İbrahim Efe Topdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but İbrahim Efe Topdemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Vladimirescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markus Svensson's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Topdemir in the 91st minute of play. Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Riesgo Cero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cosme Larpe took the corner. Golden Lions FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
