Eurico Martins took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandão Penha. Fernandão Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Laguna in the 27th minute of the match. Célio Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mazarópi Filho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The corner led Castanheiro SC's Jeferson Mandrak to fire away a dangerous shot which Mazarópi Filho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Salles made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Eurico Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, José Pedro Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Martins got free with Fernandão Penha in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Rezende in the 95th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper Mazarópi Filho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Castanheiro SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grêmio RK75's performance. The match ended with a win for Grêmio RK75.
