Felix Holbrook hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Orson Shuttleworth's late challenge caught a Baby Snakes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orson Shuttleworth helped the player get up and apologised. Orson Shuttleworth kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Nick Cavanagh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Doyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lance Spurgeon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Harchester United's goalkeeper Duncan Beckett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stuart Ward. Baby Snakes's Giles Morse quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Thomas Mitchell, made in the 19th minute of the game. Donald Mansfield scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nick Cavanagh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th match minute, Baby Snakes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terence McKenna to maneuver through the defense. If Lance Spurgeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nick Cavanagh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donald Mansfield went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nick Cavanagh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grant Doyle went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Nick Cavanagh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Spurgeon in the 39th minute of the match. The throw-in from Shane Fordham in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Baby Snakes's Giles Morse. The supporters of Harchester United booed when Baby Snakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terence McKenna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Baby Snakes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Grant Doyle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Spurgeon in the 56th minute of play forced Baby Snakes's goalkeeper Nick Cavanagh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donald Mansfield succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lance Spurgeon got free with Nick Cavanagh in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Donald Mansfield kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nick Cavanagh. That made the score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Mitchell got free with Nick Cavanagh in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donald Mansfield scored 0-6 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nick Cavanagh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Thomas Mitchell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nick Cavanagh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Lance Spurgeon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nick Cavanagh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nick Cavanagh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Furlong in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Furlong came free, but Nick Cavanagh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donald Mansfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Lance Spurgeon notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Baby Snakes's Nick Cavanagh. Nick Cavanagh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Mansfield came free, but Nick Cavanagh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lance Spurgeon scored 0-9 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nick Cavanagh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lance Spurgeon came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nick Cavanagh could save by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Harchester United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Baby Snakes.
