Alex Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Long having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Raimo Ülend dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 78 minutes into the game, one of Harchester United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Seb Hedges might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Neil Long. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seb Hedges ran back to his position shaking his head.
