The audience was convinced that Shi Ming's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tao Cheng Zhi was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. El ultimo's Tao Cheng Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Shi Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tao Cheng Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terremoto FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after El ultimo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hilario Duarte took the corner. Benicio Sugar hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Ke Xiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Libesoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Ke Xiang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ultimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ke Xiang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celestino Nisio got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vasile Pisculescu. Shi Ming struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Tao Cheng Zhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto FC. Tao Cheng Zhi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Ming's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Tao Cheng Zhi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shi Ming went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, El ultimo's Tao Cheng Zhi got control of the ball when Shi Ming tried to sneak it across the goal line. Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Pisculescu in the 34th minute of play. Terremoto FC's Benicio Sugar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celestino Nisio, made in the 35th minute of the game. 1-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Ke Xiang elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When El ultimo's Vasile Pisculescu in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Terremoto FC's goalie prevented a goal. El ultimo were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Terremoto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celestino Nisio took the corner. El ultimo's Celestino Nisio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kenneth Libesoons in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tao Cheng Zhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shi Ming in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Bernabe Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Libesoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ke Xiang to make the kick off. When Celestino Nisio fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ultimo's protests and gave Celestino Nisio a yellow card for diving instead. 56 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Pisculescu came free, but Kenneth Libesoons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gaston Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tao Cheng Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Duarte in the 62nd minute of play. Shi Ming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tao Cheng Zhi having to interfere. El ultimo's Carlos Alberto Sabóia was substituted for Felipe Venceslas. Terremoto FC's Bernard Mietus was substituted for Shi Ming. 69 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Mietus came free, but Tao Cheng Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Mietus scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tao Cheng Zhi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vasile Pisculescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Kenneth Libesoons made a huge save. El ultimo were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Terremoto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celestino Nisio took the corner. In the 86th minute Ke Xiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Libesoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Bernard Mietus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tao Cheng Zhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 94th minute of the match, Bernabe Lucero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kenneth Libesoons was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bernard Mietus struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tao Cheng Zhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto FC.
