Diamantino Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Trancoso in the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Trancoso in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Adhemar Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Baturhan Oytun notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna. Diamantino Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diamantino Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Freitas went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna got control of the ball when Juninho Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Trancoso in the 44th minute of play. PIAUÍ FC's Richard Albuquerque suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 44 minutes, Adhemar Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol Club RRFV and the PIAUÍ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baturhan Oytun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Diamantino Senna made a huge save. Diamantino Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Leonel Sanches made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Freitas in the 52nd minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes PIAUÍ FC got a freekick which was hit by Guga Trancoso. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Mete Gøl sped through Futbol Club RRFV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diamantino Senna. If Demis Katsarolidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Gøl in the 76th minute of play. Alfredão Prestes scored 7-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 minutes of play, PIAUÍ FC's Mete Gøl made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diamantino Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Freitas in the 85th minute of play. Demis Katsarolidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Senna having to interfere. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Freitas in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Freitas came free, but Diamantino Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the PIAUÍ FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
