The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when SuRpRiSe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Gibowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Humberto Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Augustyniak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute Milosz Gibowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulo Silva fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Paulo Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Flavinho Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zenon Soroka went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zenon Soroka made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Ernani Pernambucano threw the ball into play from the sideline. SuRpRiSe's Przemyslaw Dec quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zenon Soroka might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavinho Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zenon Soroka ran back to his position shaking his head. SuRpRiSe's Zenon Soroka got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Milosz Gibowski put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Flavinho Reis. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Humberto Rossi came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jerzy Augustyniak could save by the left post. After 80 minutes of play, SuRpRiSe's Zenon Soroka made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavinho Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute Milosz Gibowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Augustyniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Ramos in the 90th minute of the match. After 94 played minutes SuRpRiSe got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Smuskiewicz. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SuRpRiSe fully deserved thier win.
