In the 45th minute Christian Townson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Doykin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Townson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Townson to strike the kick off in the second half. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Almir Lago was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adam Doykin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
