Reuben Meade might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Papo Folgueras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Papo Folgueras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Papo Folgueras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The wind increased when Agustín Álvarez made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Soner Turking notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montevideo City Torque's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ceyhan Celvet was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Dragón F.C's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xamo Melic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Genaro Carredelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Papo Folgueras was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Agustín Álvarez took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Papo Folgueras. Papo Folgueras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montevideo City Torque walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
