Torrey Molloy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bryant Reina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conner Carragher in the 19th minute of play. If Conner Carragher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conner Carragher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudy Lukas got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Beagan Colwell. Australia's Bryant Reina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Australia from getting a goal against them. Torrey Molloy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Bryant Reina skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Torrey Molloy might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryant Reina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torrey Molloy ran back to his position shaking his head. Bryant Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torrey Molloy in the 33rd minute. Torrey Molloy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Bryant Reina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conner Carragher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Australia's goal looked a bit too open when Torrey Molloy came free, but Bryant Reina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Torrey Molloy came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ireland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torrey Molloy couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmundson Colling kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ter Stegen. That made the score 0-1 in the 70 minute of play. Ireland's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Hayward in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cherry Evans got free with Ter Stegen in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ireland's Ter Stegen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ireland from getting a goal against them. Ter Stegen made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Keefer Carragher sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Ireland's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Hayward came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Australia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
