Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Faas Wilkes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ronnie Meck. In the 10th minute Eric Van Lint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Balthazar Bär tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Ekrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 21 minutes U21 Sweden's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernan Berart who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd minute Faas Wilkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Van Lint in the 26th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Ronnie Meck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match, Stig Sandström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Ekrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balthazar Bär, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the U21 Sweden defense, Martin Mutumba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronnie Meck. The U21 Sweden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronnie Meck should have stopped the shot. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balthazar Bär, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Ronnie Meck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Mutumba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Balthazar Bär notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernan Berart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ronnie Meck made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balthazar Bär in the 65th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of U21 Sweden booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Dahlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Martin Mutumba came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Vykans Vikingar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Mutumba couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Björklund to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Van Lint came free, but Ronnie Meck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Genaro Remicio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Ronnie Meck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Mutumba kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vykans Vikingar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
