Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Eusko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Enzo Luongo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Eusko to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Luongo in the 53rd minute of play forced STARK F.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Urtzi made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Rui Costa. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Di Carlo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Aldo Di Carlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STARK F.C.'s Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
