The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Geofredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emerson Whaley. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Luís Advíncula charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Advíncula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Barijho got free with Emerson Whaley in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Baltasar Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in STARK F.C.'s zone, Baltasar Leizarraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigi Buffon came out of the goal and Baltasar Leizarraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Advíncula lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 96 minutes into the game, one of STARK F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for AC Wild Broncos Ψ. Nestor Quintan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gigi Buffon. 2-1. STARK F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
