Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isaias Jakue's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Roberto Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Sporting Buceo got a corner. Playa Malvín's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yao Yan Sen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Isaias Jakue hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sartori in the 9th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fred Åkerström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Horquizar was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Fred Åkerström took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Horquizar. Maximo Horquizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Gamus Rocha came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Gamus Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Marquez made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fred Åkerström. 33 minutes into the game, Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Horquizar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Fred Åkerström might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Horquizar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Åkerström ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar got control of the ball when Fred Åkerström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Jakue in the 39th minute of play. Sandu Mândrilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Horquizar having to interfere. Zuberoa Artiaga made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Buceo's Josepe Galvan. 45 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Roberto Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isaias Jakue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Isaias Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Teixeira made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Sporting Buceo's Zé Roberto Teixeira threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charly Good, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute of the game Josepe Galvan made a throw-in which Yao Yan Sen played forward. Isaias Jakue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Åkerström in the 66th minute of play. Playa Malvín's Sesuldo Roque was substituted for Sandu Mândrilă. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Jabier Igual. Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa was substituted for Fred Åkerström. Playa Malvín's Gamus Rocha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Josepe Galvan, made in the 71st minute of the game. Zé Roberto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charly Good in the 73rd minute. Niva Espellosa scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Horquizar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Juan Sartori got a free kick in the 84th minute. Gonzalo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Maximo Horquizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantijn De Hond to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Yao Yan Sen sent off a good shot on target. Playa Malvín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
