Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Uyguner in the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacio Parra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Real Llull de Reus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebardo Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Jakue to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá Maravilha got free with Maximo Horquizar in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Isaias Jakue ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignacio Parra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 68th minute, Yao Yan Sen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Buceo's Hampus Nordström was substituted for Isaias Jakue.
