The supporters of Club Deportivo Español booed when UPAU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Claude didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Aaron Barbosa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club Deportivo Español's Aureliano Maore. Aureliano Maore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Generoso Dolfo's late challenge caught a UPAU FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Dolfo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Aureliano Maore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
