When Edelmiro Savier fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Español's protests and gave Edelmiro Savier a yellow card for diving instead. Aureliano Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Erramun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, S. D. Águilas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Kemen to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Isaias Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
