Amado Arotza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Ascencio having to make a save. In the 10th minute Hilmi Tanpınar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Celta de Virgos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baltazar Delioğlu took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Celta de Virgos's goalie and right to Hilmi Tanpınar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Celta de Virgos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ensar Secaattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Niva in the 14th minute of play. When Hilmi Tanpınar came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilmi Tanpınar couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Bernard Solarek in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Celta de Virgos's Sergio Sayvion. In the 27th minute, Amado Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ensar Secaattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Niva in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆'s Amado Arotza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amado Arotza might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Ascencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Arotza ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benny Niva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benny Niva got free with Ensar Secaattin in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tevfik Hunalp hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆'s Özer Elgün was substituted for Amado Arotza. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. Leonides Corderro replaced Orlondón Lagos. Celta de Virgos's David Astudillo was substituted for Benny Niva. ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ made a substitution. Batuhan Derelioğlu replaced Hilmi Tanpınar. ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ made a substitution. Cuma Oruk replaced Fabio Di Maio. A collision led to ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tevfik Hunalp hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Solarek. David Astudillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ensar Secaattin could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özer Elgün in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Ascencio saved Celta de Virgos from getting behind. Özer Elgün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Ascencio having to interfere. Zacarias Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özer Elgün in the 76th minute of play. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Bernard Solarek with Cuma Oruk as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 78th minute, Celta de Virgos's David Astudillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 81st minute Cuma Oruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ensar Secaattin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celta de Virgos. Zacarias Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özer Elgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Sayvion made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆'s Isidoro Estebe. Özer Elgün might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Ascencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özer Elgün ran back to his position shaking his head. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özer Elgün in the 91st minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
