Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) PP Plessydask's Holger Hvidegaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Pombal in the 4th minute of play forced PP Plessydask's goalkeeper Jan Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Catugi FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Holger Hvidegaard came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the PP Plessydask fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Hvidegaard couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Walmir Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PP Plessydask's Jan Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Pombal in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute, PP Plessydask's Hjalmar Haegg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Gaizkine. Paulo Gaizkine yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, PP Plessydask's Holger Hvidegaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Gaizkine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Paulo Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Rullhøj in the 31st minute of play. Paulo Gaizkine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Hvidegaard in the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Tomás Lecanda fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PP Plessydask's protests and gave Tomás Lecanda a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Lecanda hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jan Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Soares in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cederique Goffeyn came free, but Paulo Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catugi FC's Paulo Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Rullhøj in the 68th minute of play. Paulo Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Hvidegaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Erik Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PP Plessydask made a substitution. Palle Pottenstein replaced Robbie Rullhøj. The Catugi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Gaizkine should have stopped the shot. Paulo Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cederique Goffeyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Paulo Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palle Pottenstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
