In the 17th minute Bogdan Mailat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima got control of the ball when Pastor Ado tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Joe Tate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rodrigo Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mauro Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Mailat in the 33rd minute of play. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Machados FC V2's Anísio Queirós. But to his dismay, Anísio Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima got control of the ball when Emílio Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Tate in the 46th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascoal Espírito Santo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute, Joe Tate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joe Tate was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Valko De Hond in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Machados FC V2's Hildeberto Cortez. In the 93rd minute Emílio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Errecaborda AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
