Andoni Zubizarreta made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Houari Rimitti sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Houari Rimitti got free with Andoni Zubizarreta in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Lucchetti came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Spams's Abel Mazza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klement Kapinos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Spams's Andoni Zubizarreta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Spams from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Ciccio Lucchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abel Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Spams fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Mazza couldn't finish the play. Klement Kapinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Li Kang in the 33rd minute of the match. El Boudiaf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Zubizarreta having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Taliban FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Li Kang came free, but Klement Kapinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klement Kapinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Spams's Maximiliano Peru was substituted for Lucas Unai. Ernesto Chinto struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Klement Kapinos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spams. The Spams fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Spams's Ernesto Chinto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. El Boudiaf hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Taliban FC's Jussef Zerara was substituted for Houari Rimitti. El Boudiaf kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Ernesto Chinto took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Klement Kapinos to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Chinto got free with Klement Kapinos in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from El Boudiaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Taliban FC got a corner. Spams's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brahim Ben Khalidi ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 89th match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Mino to maneuver through the defense. Klement Kapinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Taliban FC booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taliban FC! Spams's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
