In the 14th minute Silverio Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Barrionuevo in the 16th minute of the match. Arsenio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Mazza in the 20th minute of play. If Silverio Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Donio. 35 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Vergaray came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Li Kang in the 38th minute of the match. Spams made a substitution. Maximiliano Peru replaced Silverio Truylos. The wind increased when Eduardo Barrionuevo made the kick off in the second half. Arsenio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Chinto in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Chinto came free, but Arsenio Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Plebeyos's Maximino Beltran got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Plebeyos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Beltran to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Uter in the 76th minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Roland Bobrowski. 87 minutes into the match, Spams's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Tuzzio. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Plebeyos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
