Houari Rimitti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andoni Zubizarreta having to make a save. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Lucchetti in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Lucchetti came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Jiang Li Kang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klement Kapinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Lucchetti in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Abel Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klement Kapinos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Houari Rimitti got free with Andoni Zubizarreta in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Spams's Andoni Zubizarreta got control of the ball when El Boudiaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klement Kapinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Mazza in the 40th minute of play forced Taliban FC's goalkeeper Klement Kapinos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Mazza in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klement Kapinos saved Taliban FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Spams's Andoni Zubizarreta got control of the ball when El Boudiaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jiang Li Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Taliban FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Spams were winning 0-1.

Spams's Maximiliano Peru was substituted for Lucas Unai. Spams's Gaston Caetano was substituted for Abel Mazza. Ernesto Chinto had several of the Taliban FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Klement Kapinos as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that El Boudiaf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andoni Zubizarreta was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. When Spams's Ernesto Chinto in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taliban FC's goalie prevented a goal. The goalkeeper, Klement Kapinos, was totally fooled by Spams's Agustin Donio, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Taliban FC's Klement Kapinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Peru in the 74th minute of play. Agustin Donio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Taliban FC's Jussef Zerara was substituted for Houari Rimitti. After 78 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Donio. It was beautiful to see Taliban FC's Cezary Gniewek in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 81 minutes of play, Spams's Ernesto Chinto made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klement Kapinos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Klement Kapinos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Chinto in the 85th minute. Ernesto Chinto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klement Kapinos came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Chinto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 86th minute. Klement Kapinos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Chinto in the 94th minute. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Chinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klement Kapinos was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Spams had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
