Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Dinu Mihai managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gabri Gutierrez in the 14 minute of the game. PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Lundin in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Jakob Lundin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Badia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgar Badia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Lundin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Lundin in the 38th minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakob Lundin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Tractorul Satulung -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PERSPOLIS throughout the match.
