After 19 played minutes, Capibaribe Stars's Pedro Luiz Figueiredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dave Knops came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Capibaribe Stars reached it. After 26 minutes of play, SV Wissenkerke's Yuri Paauwe made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denílson Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute Ronny Koole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Yuri Paauwe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capibaribe Stars's Denílson Munhoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denílson Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Paauwe, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The shot was stopped by Dave Knops but with some difficulty. Denílson Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Koole, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Capibaribe Stars's Denílson Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Koole in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto do Valle in the 70th minute of play forced SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Dave Knops to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
