Algarrobo's Carlos Saúl Maralla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Vilardell in the 5th minute of play. Algarrobo's Tomás Alday got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17th play minutes Austin Vilardell shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Carlos Saúl Maralla and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 20th match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Arechavala to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 22 in the game by Austin Vilardell from a close distance when the talented Carlos Saúl Maralla managed to make a qualified save. Algarrobo's players were relieved. Carlos Saúl Maralla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolfo Escajadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naelio Moncada during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Naelio Moncada hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Golden Dragón F.C's Austin Vilardell got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Toli Bailina got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Gonzalo Abarzuza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algarrobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Abarzuza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dolfo Escajadillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Saúl Maralla made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Austin Vilardell sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Austin Vilardell was the one to do the kick off. Golden Dragón F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baladi Urreta in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Golden Dragón F.C's corner Baladi Urreta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Saúl Maralla quite easily take care of the ball. Austin Vilardell took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Saúl Maralla. Carlos Saúl Maralla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ongile Olmo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Austin Vilardell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Saúl Maralla was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Austin Vilardell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Saúl Maralla having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Magdaleno Revenga came free, but Carlos Saúl Maralla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naelio Moncada kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Carlos Saúl Maralla came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Dragón F.C's Dolfo Escajadillo. But to his dismay, Dolfo Escajadillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magdaleno Revenga during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, Golden Dragón F.C's Toli Bailina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Toli Bailina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Golden Dragón F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Toli Bailina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Golden Dragón F.C! Golden Dragón F.C:s Florin Quelia showed great skill when he stopped Anselmo Casanova:s penalty. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ongile Olmo hit a great ball. When Magdaleno Revenga came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Golden Dragón F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magdaleno Revenga couldn't finish the play. Golden Dragón F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Algarrobo for a fine match.
