After 10 played minutes Picanya FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillen Calderon. Humberto Alonso came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Säfvahöjden's Boris Eklund. But to his dismay, Boris Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Patrick Möllgren fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säfvahöjden's protests and gave Patrick Möllgren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Möllgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Hääger was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, one of Säfvahöjden:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Säfvahöjden. Padro Cordoba shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Stålman in the 31st minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Humberto Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivar Gustafsson made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dalmai Sanz sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Chris Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Säfvahöjden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aitor De Toro made a kick off. In the 56th minute Chris Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmai Sanz came free, but Ivar Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Rubio Losada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melker Boman kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Säfvahöjden's Peder Bergkvist was substituted for Boris Eklund. A collision led to Säfvahöjden getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Melker Boman hit a great ball. Ivar Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubio Losada in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute Chris Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xuan Zabalo to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Mezquita charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramón Mezquita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Picanya FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Mezquita. Chris Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Alonso having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Säfvahöjden eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
