Bebeto Paranaense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnaba Komanski in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denílson Ferreira in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zachariasz Gongolewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klement Awizo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Bebeto Paranaense made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Klement Awizo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bebeto Paranaense. Klement Awizo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Pereira in the 33rd minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Zachariasz Gongolewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when Śląsk Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Madajczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Pereira in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zachariasz Gongolewicz saved Śląsk Bytom from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's goal looked a bit too open when Tytus Koprowski came free, but Bebeto Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Tomporowski's late challenge caught a Grêmio RK75's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Tomporowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Roman Tomporowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Adhemar Sabóia got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson Ferreira made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Śląsk Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Roman Tomporowski. Barnaba Komanski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Paranaense having to interfere. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when Śląsk Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Madajczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Denílson Ferreira took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Zachariasz Gongolewicz to make any attempt to save it. Zachariasz Gongolewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Pereira in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Denílson Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Gongolewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Grêmio RK75 fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Grêmio RK75's Denílson Ferreira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 92nd match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Ferreira to maneuver through the defense.
